Not really apartheid

by David S. Rovins

The article “Size doesn’t matter...but apartheid does” (Vol. 30, Iss. 24, Mar. 2) has some false information that needs to be refuted. Firstly apartheid is an Afrikaans word that did apply exclusively to a system of legal racial segregation in South Africa between l948 and l994. It no longer exists in that country or anywhere else. Secondly the author of this article takes great pride in pointing out that since this anti-Israel activity has been going on for six years it must be worthwhile. He should be reminded that hatred against the Jewish people has been going on for many, many centuries.

Joseph Goebbels believed that if you lie often enough and repeatedly, people will eventually believe you.
